KINETIC LIGHT SCULPTURES 

Inspired by the sculptural works of optical and kinetic art of the mid-20th century, KINETIC LIGHT SCUPTURES pays homage to the work of constructivist sculptor Naum Gabo and all those pioneering artists who broke new ground in the post-avant-garde era.

Today, digital design software tools and code language are beginning to open new avenues of artistic exploration.
artistic exploration. The work investigates and reformulates those past artistic sculptural expressions that are still contemporary.

Each piece – created from the deformation of the same spherical mesh vlume of lines, vectors and nodes – starts from a recognisable geometric position that begins to rotate and/or multiply until it finds its own optical and formal identity. The cyclical and hypnotic movement of the kinetic sculptures traps us and invites us to reflect on our perception of a world in which nothing is what it seems.
