HOLA

HOLA,

LUXstudio is an independent office based in Madrid specialising in creative lighting design.

Our focus is on the research, design and production of lighting projects capable of moving emotions to generate global awareness. We carry out Creative Lighting Projects at an international level, from the conceptual phase to its execution for public and private organisations that value the importance of light.

The studio is directed by lighting designer and architect Ricardo Morcillo, who graduated in lighting design from the Hoogeschool Van Amsterdam and in architecture from the School of Architecture of Alicante. Ricardo combines his professional activity supporting the culture of light through conferences, research and teaching. Co-editor at Lightecture Magazine and a Senior Professional Partner of APDI, he teaches Light Art and Creative Lighting at the European Institute of Design (IED) in Madrid and actively participates in other universities and schools such as the UPC, ESdesign and La Salle Ramón Llull University.
